Rewire roadmap: every feature we have shipped

Meet Wisp: a glowing companion, a Today tab, and a daily partner race

Rewire 3.4 gives the app a face. Wisp lives on the new Today tab, talks you through urges, and wears the hats you earn. Your accountability partner became a friendly rival too.

• Meet Wisp, your companion

A glowing companion that lives on the new Today tab. Give it a name, pet it, and chat with it when an urge hits. It reacts with its own faces and colors and remembers what you talked about.

• Wisp hats

Spend the gems you earn from streaks and habits on 11 glowing hats, from a flower crown to a wizard hat, and dress Wisp up your way.

• Today tab

Your day at a glance: a date strip, every habit with the time you did it, and a full month view to watch your streaks build.

• Daily partner race

Earn points for showing up, resisting urges, and logging good habits, and race your accountability partner every day. React to their messages and open their profile.

  Accountability partners→

• Reworked interventions

Future Message shows you tomorrow's lock screen, Urge Surfing puts you on the ocean, and every other urge intervention got a fresh redesign.

  All interventions→

• Unlock straight from the block screen

On iOS 26.5 and later, the app blocker's block screen opens Rewire directly, so unlocking takes one tap instead of a notification.

• Lifetime stats

Tap your greeting on Home to see everything you have achieved since day one.

App blocker with a physical key: NFC tags, QR codes, and Dopamine Lock

The app blocker grew up. Four blocking modes, a real-world key you have to walk to, and a lock that reads your Dopamine Score before it lets you back in.

• Four app blocking modes

Lock distracting apps four different ways, so the unlock always fits your day. Keep a simple on and off switch, let your Dopamine Score decide, or put the key somewhere physical.

  How to reduce screen time→

• NFC tag and QR code unlock

Pair a real NFC tag or a QR code and leave it in another room. To unblock your apps you have to get up and scan it. That one deliberate step is often enough friction to break the reflex of opening TikTok or Instagram.

  Rewire vs Brick→

• Dopamine Lock

Your Dopamine Score decides how you unblock. Tap through the shield, pass a short urge intervention first, or lift the block by completing a good habit.

• Partner Photos

Snap a moment with Rewire Cam and send it to your accountability partner as a polaroid. Every photo is safety-checked on our server before your partner sees it.

• Free Dopamine Detox ChallengesFree

Detox Challenges are now free to enter. Hit the milestones, bank gems along the way, and unlock the Full Reset pack when you finish.

  The 30-day dopamine detox challenge→

• More stickers in every language

Fresh sticker packs and new replies for partner chat, drawn and translated into English, German, Japanese, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Rewire App Blocker and Screen Time Report

Rewire started blocking apps. Not as a standalone screen time blocker, but tied to the habits you are actually trying to build.

• Rewire App Blocker

Block distracting apps based on your Dopamine Score and keep them locked until you finish your habits for the day. Built on Apple's Screen Time framework, so the block lives at the system level, not inside Rewire.

Best screen time apps for iPhone→

• Screen Time Report

See your daily phone usage inside Rewire, plus the years of your life you win back as better habits take hold.

  Rewire vs Opal→

Rewire on Apple Watch, gems, and the urges heatmap

Urges do not wait for you to unlock your phone. 2.5 put Rewire on your wrist and added the analytics to see your patterns.

• Apple Watch app

Track urges, log actions, and stay accountable right from your wrist.

• Earn gems

Get rewarded for every positive action you log. Rewards are tied to good actions you define, never to time spent in the app.
